Certification and Exams

Prerequisite:  The CCIP candidate must have a valid CCNA Voice OR CCNA Certification (until June 23, 2009) or any CCIE Certification can act as a pre-requisite.
 

The Cisco professional level certifications, including CCVP certification, are valid for three years.  There are two paths that can be taken to achieve CCVP certification.

For individuals using Cisco Unified Communications Manager the following path towards certification is recommended:

All candidates working towards a CCVP certification on the CCVP CallManager 4.1 option path must complete both the CIPT 4.1 and GWGK exams before they are retired on December 31, 2009. If both CIPT 4.1 and GWGK are not completed by December 31, 2009, candidates will be required to complete both the CIPT1 6.0 and CIPT2 6.0 exams.
