Now Available: VMware Certified Professional 5 – Desktop (VCP5-DT)
This new VMware certification is directed toward Virtualization Systems Engineers who seek to demonstrate their ability to install and configure the VMware View environment and enable View Client users. IT professionals must also be able to configure the vSphere environment, possess a deep understanding of VMware core components and their relation to storage and networking and be proficient in datacenter design methodologies. Effective February 23rd, 2012, Cisco Systems, Inc. policy requires minimum 3 business days between the date on which the appointment is made and the appointment time.

HP are delivered from Pearson VUE since February 2012
Pearson VUE will begin delivery exams for Hewlett-Packard. The HP Certified Professional program is called ExpertONE and is promoted as the standard for hiring IT professionals to support and extend network and storage technology solutions that enable better business outcomes. The certifications are not product specific but role based, and the certifications cover the range from foundational certification to Intermediate and Advanced certification. There are two advance certifications, Master Accredited Systems Engineer Architect and Master Accredited Systems Engineer Integration. Exams will be delivered as proctored IBT exams in test centers or as web-based exams that not proctored and not delivered in test centers, depending on the exam.
Cisco Exams Price Changes - January 16th, 2012
Cisco continues to make strong investments in its certification and training program to meet the growing demand for skilled and qualified networking professionals. To facilitate growth, maintain competitiveness, and standardize exam pricing, Cisco is adjusting prices of the Cisco CCNA® Routing and Switching composite exam, the ICND1 and ICND2 entry-level and associate exams, and the CCDA® exam. The price changes are effective Monday, January 16, 2012:
• CCNA exam 640-802 is increasing from $250 to $295
• CCDA exam 640-864 is increasing from $150 to $200
• CND1 640-822 and ICND2 640-816 are increasing from $125 to $150.

TIBCO News
Effective December 2011, scores will not be provided at Prometric testing centers. TIBCO will send the final exam results to the candidates within 6 – 8 weeks of the exam date.

TIBCO certification exam
Effective June 2011, a voucher will be required to register for and take a TIBCO certification exam. To request a voucher, send an email to Certification@tibco.com. The email must come from a valid company email account and include the following information: Full name, Employer and TIBCO product experience. This voucher is only for authorization to take a TIBCO Certification exam; full payment is required when registering.
Oracle Selects Pearson VUE to Deliver Sun Certification Examsfont
Candidates that register for a Sun exam before August 1, 2011, will receive free practice questions!
Oracle announced this month that Pearson VUE has been chosen to deliver its Sun certification exams. Effective immediately, Pearson VUE is taking registrations for Java, Oracle Solaris, MySQL, and NetBeans exams. Starting June 1, 2011, all Sun certification exams will be delivered through Pearson VUE.
Moving the Sun exams to Pearson VUE will consolidate all Oracle Certification exams within the operations of a single testing vendor. This will allow Oracle to provide better service and global testing coverage for all their certification exams.
