It demands that disciplines be developed to ensure work is accomplished in sufficient quality and quantity without much help from others. These competencies are the foundation for all further leadership development.

Candidates for Leading Self start with a SMART assessment to determine baseline skills as well as outline a prescriptive learning plan to develop the necessary competencies to benefit the organization. Competencies are evaluated and cross referenced against the six core classes and desired electives.
