The Master of Security Science (MSS) Program prepares information systems professionals for information security and assurance careers. The program consists of topical areas dealing with computer security management; incidence response; and security threat assessment. This program requires students to be creators of knowledge and inventors of processes, not simply users of information. Projects address security implementation and processes which today’s business environment requires. In addition to completing the required courses, students must research, write, and submit an approved Master’s thesis and pass the Oral Master’s Thesis Examination.
