Description

Candidates for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration (MCTS: WS08 Applications Infrastructure Configuration) demonstrate an IT professional's in-depth, current skills on Active Directory, network infrastructure, or applications infrastructure.

Audience

Technology Specialists pursue careers as database administrators, database developers or business intelligence developers.  Candidates are IT professionals who are working with Windows Server 2008, or anticipate deploying or working in a Windows Server 2008 environment within the next year.

Requirements

To earn your MCTS in Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration certification, you must pass one required exam.  If you are a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) with a Windows Server 2003 certification, you can follow an upgrade path to achieve your desired certification.
