Candidates for the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer in Windows Developer 3.5 on Visual Studio 2008 (MCPD: Windows Developer 3.5) are professionals who use Visual Studio 2008 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, or who anticipate working with these technologies in the near future.

MCPD: Windows Developer 3.5 Requirements

Candidates should have at least two to three years of experience using the underlying technologies that are covered in the exam.  To earn your MCPD in Windows Developer 3.5 certification, you must pass four exams: two core exams on networking systems, one core exam on client operating systems and one elective exam.

One Prerequisite Credential (Two Exams) and One Exam Required:

MCPD: Windows Developer 3.5 must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Forms Applications (two exams).

After they achieve this certification, candidates can earn their MCPD: Windows Developer 3.5 credential by passing one additional exam.
