Candidates for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Communication Foundation Applications (MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Communication Foundation Applications) are professionals who use Visual Studio 2008 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, or who anticipate working with these technologies in the near future.

Audience

Technology Specialists pursue careers as database administrators, database developers or business intelligence developers.  Candidates have at least one year of experience using the underlying technologies represented in the desired certification.

To earn your MCTS in .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Communications Foundation Applications certification, you must pass one prerequisite and one required exam.  If you currently hold any .NET Framework 2.0 MCTS or Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certifications, you have already fulfilled the prerequisite requirement.
