CIO talks about IT transformation

In a recent interview with CIO.com, IT leader Louie Ehrlich discussed what he learned when he led his global IT team through a massive change. Although it is important that workers had adequate IT training and certifications to make the transitions seamless, Ehrlich said it was equally important for IT professionals to keep an open mind when undergoing a significant transformation.

Currently, many organizations, companies and individuals transitioning to a cloud-based platform at a rapid pace. These organizations are not only deploying virtual technology to enhance collaboration and increase productivity, but also transforming their company culture with the implementation of information sharing resources in the cloud. Ehrlich said when undergoing this change, companies and IT departments should remain curious to new technologies and not be afraid to step outside the comfort zone when making decisions.
