The report showed the top states for the app economy in the United States are:1) California - 151,000 jobs 2) Washington - 49,800 jobs 2) New York - 39,800 jobs 4) Texas - 25,000 jobs 5) Georgia - 24,000 jobs"Based on this analysis, the app economy turns out to be remarkably diverse," the report said. "The conventional picture of an app developer is a single person working in a basement, or perhaps a small firm with two or three programmers. However, we found in our study that a surprisingly broad range of enterprises are searching for workers who have the ability to develop, maintain, or support mobile applications."Those looking for an IT career may want to see what the app economy may have for them.
