Marketing Coordinator


The primary role of the Marketing Event Coordinator is to support administrative tasks and activities under the direction of our marketing team. You will work with and support our marketing managers and directors with internal systems, process management, event & campaign setup, reporting, and communication with internal parties and our sales teams. One of the primary functions of the marketing event coordinator is to support our complimentary events, manage internal event systems and platforms, process management, creating event assets such as drafting emails and event worksheets, along with all other event setup. The role will require strong communications skills and attention to accuracy and detail is necessary. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Support events with setup, producing, updating rosters, key information following events, reporting, and tracking to the success of the webinar, live event, or supporting marketing activity. 
  • Create, manage, and process event setup in a timely manner ensuring accuracy. 
  • Creating processes and organizing key systems to achieve consistent, high-quality results with our stakeholders. 
  • Creating email copy both pre and post, along with event follow-up assets and worksheets. 
  • Working to support lead generation activities and campaigns in Salesforce.com which includes gather analytics and reporting on results. 
  • Assist with On-Demand events. 
  • Maintain rosters and event management in Salesforce. 
  • Manage costs and accurate budgets for events. 
  • Provide administrative support to the team and with ad hoc projects in the marketing department. 
  • Developing and/or supporting relevant databases. 



Requirements 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar event coordinator or marketing role. 
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize with minimal oversight. 
  • Must take initiative and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in an ever-changing environment and list of assignments. 
  • Effective planning and organizational skills. Initiative and timely execution of tasks. 
  • Ability to execute under accelerated time frames and quickly adapt to changes in priorities. 
  • Strong independent project management skills and consistent follow-through. 
  • Innovative and creative thinker to provide forward planning all while managing multiple projects.

Marketing Copywriter - FT Contract

 We are seeking a skilled, marketing copywriter to craft engaging, informative, and persuasive copy to drive our current and prospective customers to take action. Writing responsibilities will include copy for our website, social media, blogs, emails, lead magnets in addition to other ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate can covey a powerful message in a clear and concise way that drives interest and informs the reader on how New Horizons can help make their life better though our training solutions. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

Creating unique, powerful, and succinct marketing messages on New Horizons and the products and services we offer. 

Exploring and developing new content ideas through research, industry trends, and using internal data. 

Proofreading and editing content produced by stakeholders across the business, ensuring all copy is polished, grammatically correct, and aligned with the overall content strategy and editorial guidelines. 

Experience with customer-facing marketing writing for B2B audiences. 

Effective communication and research skills. 

Management of all writing for marketing projects, campaigns, and ad hoc marketing activities. 



Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or other specialized certificate in writing. 

A strong portfolio of published work that demonstrates original, consistent, and high-quality writing 

Understanding of technology training and higher education courses preferred. 

Digital media production, blogs, social media, email communication and marketing asset writing a must. 

You must hold the work you produce and yourself to a high standard. 

A deep understanding of priorities, taking independent initiative, and being able to pivot from one thing to another to keep everyone moving. 

The ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and objectives.

B2B Account Executive

New Horizons is seeking an experienced and dedicated B2B Account Executive to join its dynamic sales team. Do you possess sales experience, honed client service skills and a passion for technology, new systems, training, and tailored business solutions? Become a member of an outstanding sales team through identifying IT training growth opportunities for clients before they identify a need or gap for themselves. We value sales professionals who are passionate about growing existing accounts while proactively pursuing new accounts. This is a remote role, open to US residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Educate customers about our training solutions.
  • Grow and maintain new business; provide exemplary service to existing clients.
  • Articulate the New Horizons values and services.
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Identify, forecast and attain sales objective using tools such as Salesforce.
  • Perform prospecting activities (i.e. cold calling, emails, social media tools, other technology tools)
  • Respond to client business needs.
  • Stay current with company offerings and industry trends.
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
  • Ability to understand client needs and negotiate costs and services.
  • Ability to close customer contracts and generate new sales.
