Course Overview
Advanced VoIP Concepts aims to enhance the knowledge of students who have already attended CLACE, CCCF, CLFNDU, or possess equivalent practical experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, IOS gateways, and Cisco IP phones. The course is designed to be a lab-intensive learning environment that combines instructor presentations with live labs. All labs utilize live virtual machines for Cisco applications, in addition to physical routers and IP phones.
Course Objectives
The advanced content will focus on Integrated Services Routers functioning as gateways and a Cisco Unified Border Element, Multi-Level Precedence and Pre-emption (MLPP), Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco IM and Presence Server, Cisco Jabber, and advanced troubleshooting techniques in Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection.
