Recently we commenced bringing in real-world employers to conduct Mock Interviews with our transitioning military personnel. James Edgell, representing New Horizons, was one of the very first to work with us to conduct these mock interviews and has been a recurring participant ever since. From the inception of this facet of our transition training, the mock interviews have been a resounding success. While our training curriculum does include interview prep there is simply no replacement for observing the process as conducted by people who do this as part of their daily job. I wanted to reach out to you both to express my appreciation for James’ involvement in these Mock Interviews as well as my thanks for Justin Lancaster’s continued participation in our Employer Panels. The experience, motivation and credibility they bring to our mock interviews and these regularly occurring Employer Panel discussions is invaluable. To be blunt, they are making a difference, a huge difference, in the level of readiness of the transitioning military personnel they come into contact with.
